  • There is an attachment that turns the drill into a jigsaw. They can cut any soft materials: wood, plastic, drywall, thin metal.
  • The brush attachment can be used to polish metal parts and remove old paint from surfaces.
  • The attachment for cutting textiles, plastic, cardboard and leather up to 8 mm thick.
  • The attachment for sharpening drill bits will help you when they become dull.
  • There are even attachments for pruning bushes, plucking chickens and an attachment for a wine corkscrew.

Choose a drill with a battery capacity of up to 1.5–2 Ah, this is enough for minor repairs. Models with lithium-ion batteries charge the fastest and last the longest.

Angle grinder

An angle grinder is more often called a grinder. By changing attachments, it can be used as a universal tool for cutting, grinding and cleaning any surfaces. The most popular attachments:

Discs for metal, wood and stone – each designed for a different material. The diamond blade can cut anything, even porcelain stoneware, tiles, glass, bricks, concrete.
Polishing and grinding discs. Depending on the abrasive, they are used for polishing parquet, removing old paint and rust from metal, sharpening knives and even polishing a car body.
Diamond core bits are used to drill holes for sockets, pipes and communications in tiles and granite, bricks and concrete.
Brushes of different hardness are used to remove paint, rust and dirt from wooden and metal surfaces.

For an apartment, the optimal tape length is 5 m; for a private house, you can choose a longer tape measure.

A multimeter combines the functions of an ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, and other measuring instruments. It is used when you need to find out if there is voltage in the network or if an electrical appliance is working. It also helps to detect current leaks, broken wires, and check grounding. When you find a problem, you can decide whether to call a professional or fix it yourself.

Screwdriver set

Why do you need screwdrivers if you have a screwdriver? There are times when it is more convenient to use a screwdriver: where a screwdriver will not fit or where you need to work slowly and carefully. For example, unscrewing screws from the back panel of the TV, repairing a hole in glasses, removing a lampshade from a chandelier. To prevent tools from taking up a lot of space, buy a screwdriver with interchangeable tips. Usually the set contains all varieties: flat, cross-shaped, triangular, “star”. It is most convenient to work with screwdrivers with rubberized handles, as they do not slip out of your hands.
